Toxic body burden is the lifelong accumulation of chemicals to which we have been exposed through our food, air, and environment. This accumulation of toxins is not without consequences. Chronic health conditions like autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as cancer and even diabetes, have been associated with ongoing exposure to environmental toxins.
A toxin test is a test for those who may have been knowingly or unknowingly, exposed to toxins in the home, workplace, particularly those who have worked in industry, manufacturing and other chemicals or elsewhere. We are also unknowingly exposed to toxicants in our drinking water, environment, foods, pharmaceutical treatments, home and personal care products and may benefit from either limited or comprehensive assessment of possible exposures. The following are examples of assessment panels.
- Heavy Metals
- Mycotoxins
- Non-Metals/Environmental Pollutants
Using sound, effective recommendations to rid the body of toxicants is one step to recover from exposures, but avoiding toxins and toxicants is equally important and effective for recovery and improvement in health.
